From Dreamer to Empire Builder
It all started with a dream. A dream held by a young girl named Timeka—known as “Meka” to those closest to her—who always knew deep down she was destined for more. As a child, she was a visionary, often imagining a life where she’d one day lead, inspire, and build something greater than herself.
Her journey began humbly, working as an employee at an insurance company. It was there she began to realize something powerful: she wasn't meant to just clock in and out—she was made to lead. Made to build. Made to become a Boss. With unshakable faith and a heart full of purpose, Timeka took a bold leap and left behind job security to start her very first business: a staffing agency.
The beginnings were far from easy. It was a test of courage, full of failures, setbacks, and lessons—but never regret. Each challenge only fueled her determination to rise.
From the staffing agency, Timeka launched her next venture: a tax agency, helping individuals and businesses navigate their finances with confidence. Her empire began to grow. She then entered the short-term rental industry, managing properties on platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and Turo—yet another chapter in her ever-evolving story of hustle and innovation.
But it was a deeper calling that stirred her soul—one rooted in compassion. Timeka recognized a growing need for quality, heartfelt care for the elderly and those with disabilities. That realization gave birth to Nurtured Home Care, a home care agency built not just on service, but on love, dignity, and respect.
And she didn’t stop there.
With a desire to serve even further, she launched Care Shuttle, providing safe, dependable transportation for those with mobility needs—because care shouldn’t end at the doorstep.
